Glade

Glade is a decision-centric governance platform for social purpose organisations — charities, co-operatives, CICs, partnerships, and community groups.

Every part of Glade is built around the decision as the primary unit of governance memory. Decisions are traceable, reviewable, and connected to living governance documents, so nothing gets lost to old emails, scattered minutes, or departing trustees.

What you can do with Glade

  • Log decisions with full context — who was involved, what method was used, what the rationale was, and what actions follow
  • Track actions that arise from decisions and see at a glance what's overdue
  • Run live meetings with a structured facilitation view, speaker stack, timer, and built-in decision flows (consent, voting, advice process, delegation)
  • Maintain living documents — constitutions, policies, terms of reference — with version history and decision trails showing why each section exists
  • Develop proposals through structured discussion before they reach a formal decision
  • Surface topics — questions, tensions, and agenda suggestions — as lightweight governance prompts
  • Visualise your governance on The Glade, an interactive canvas that maps decisions and their connections
  • Share governance publicly with per-section transparency controls and embeddable widgets
  • Get AI insights — pattern analysis, review questions, document impact suggestions, governance digests, and new member briefings (Canopy plan)

Getting started

When you first sign in and create a space, Glade walks you through a short getting-started checklist:

  1. Your space is created automatically
  2. Invite a team member
  3. Log your first decision
  4. Record a meeting

From there, explore the sidebar to find decisions, meetings, documents, proposals, topics, and The Glade.
